Year 1 Classroom Teacher | Starting March 2024 | Maternity Cover
A lovely school located in Silvertown, Newham are looking for an experienced KS1 teacher who is passionate about educating to cover a teacher who is going on Maternity leave in March 2024. This primary school is committed to providing a nurturing and encouraging learning environment for all students. The successful Year 1 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and stimulating education.
Please note that this role is covering someone while they are on Maternity Leave.

About you and the role as Year 1 Classroom Teacher,

• Excellent Classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be able to work positively with other staff to create an encouraging working environment.
• Provide Up to date enhanced DBS.
• Provide Up to date CV and References.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the PGCE equivalent.
• 1+ years experience as a Primary School Teacher, Year 1 Teacher experience desirable.
• Dedication to teaching engaging lessons and inspiring the students
• A thorough knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Be available, and commit to working full time Monday-Friday for the full school week for as long as the maternity cover is needed.
