Destination Education is looking for an Art & Design Teacher for an 11-19 co-educational comprehensive school located in the London Borough of Camden.  The position is to start on a full time basis as soon as possible unitl the end of the academic year (with the view to go permanent).

Responsibilities of an Art & Design Teacher:

• Teaching Art & Design in accordance with the curriculum at key stage 3-5
• Be responsible for the progress and welfare of students
• Maintain good behaviour and discipline policies at all times
• Keep up to date with current developments in the teaching of art & design
• Prepare and mark student’s work in accordance with the national curriculum

Ideal Art & Design Teacher:

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Proven successful experience teaching across UK national curriculum
• Background teaching key stage 3-5 Art & Design in UK schools
• Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with young people
