Destination Education is looking for a proactive and versatile Caretaker to work across three school sites within the London Borough of Barnet.  The main purpose of the role is to provide a safe learning environment for all students and create a welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.  The ideal Caretaker will work as part of the Facilities Team and report to the Estates Manager and the position is due to start as soon as possible.
 
The ideal Caretaker will have the opportunity for training and career development and have the chance to work with a friendly and supportive team.

Requirements of the Caretaker:-

• Good building maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing, decorating etc
• Working knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations
• A driving license, as the ideal Caretaker will be working across 3 sites in the London Borough of Barnet
• IT literacy to operate systems such as alarm panels and building management control systems (training will be provided)
• Ability to work independently, using initiative and to work as part of a team to help deliver the estates strategy
