An opportunity for an experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant has become available at a school in Harlow, Essex. About you, and the role of SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • The ideal candidate will be able to establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School.
  • Provide an up to date enhanced DBS.
  • Provide an up to date CV and references.
  • You will be passionate and extremely dedicated about working with young people with SEN.
  • You will have a drive to promote and encourage independence and personal development.
  • Be approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with SEN learners within the school.
  • To promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
  • Have experience with primary aged children.
  • Meet children’s individual and collective needs and understand that children have different ways of learning and need different types of support.
